On behalf of the McGonigal family we are all heartbroken about our pending business closure. The outpouring of emotion and goodwill has been overwhelming - THANK YOU EVERYONE for your years of amazing support! We plan to finish on a positive note as our final celebration is planned for the weekend of December 29th - 31st. Join us for lots of entertainment, the Pub camaraderie and help us finish up our food & drink inventory!

We may be adding onto this list, but our current scheduled entertainment includes:

Fast Eddie McAteer, Friday December 29, 8:00 PM. This fantastic Irish artist is renown in the Chicagoland area and has been a long-time performer here since we opened.

Morgan Fingleton, Saturday December 30, 3:00 PM. One of the all-time popular Irish guys we’ve had at the Pub; he moved to South Bend three years ago but is coming in for one last show.

Blues Demolition, Saturday December 30, 8:30 PM. A group of local people and great Pub customers that have played here many times before and really rock the house! A thank you to Todd Rhodes (Grassroots, Alley 59, Happy’s Badazz Bar) for setting this up.

The Rolling Blackouts, Sunday December 31, 9:00 PM. This band of well-known Barrington musicians (Henry Heine) and true friends of the Pub may have just formed early this year but have become tremendously popular. They have the distinct honor of being the last act ever at the Pub.

Note that we may also have an “Irish New Years” celebration at 6:00 PM on December 31; this will be confirmed soon. Additionally, expect a tremendous amount of food & drink specials on whatever we still have left for the evening. More info will be posted here, on our Facebook page and in-house at the Pub as we get closer to the end, but suffice to say we’re pretty sure you won’t want to miss this last hurrah at the Pub!

We also thank everyone in advance for being respectful of the establishment, our staff and fellow patrons over this final weekend. Let’s keep all activities positive and fun!
