McGonigal's Pub features "The Loft" - a fantastic second level that seats up to 100 for dining, business meeting, private parties, corporate events and other similar functions.  A built-in music stage (with functional PA system) is perfect for bands and other instances where some elevation is needed.  Several HDTVs are at your disposal, making it possible to run DVD presentations or even a hookup directly from a PC.  The room is accessible via stairs and an elevator, and comes equipped with a fully stocked bar, jukebox and restrooms on the same level.

Additionally on our second level we have a more private banquet/meeting room, named the "Burgandy Room" from former wine bar days.  It holds up to 24 people and has a large HDTV that can be used for presentations or TV viewing. Food & drink service comes from "The Loft" bar area.

As of the beginning of 2023 our main level expansion side - called "Fork & Cork Banquets" - has become exclusively available for event rentals.  This newer, upscale addition is adaptable to many functions and features a beautiful full bar, several HDTVs, jukebox and seating for 80+ patrons.

The Pub's main level we don't fully rent out, but we can map out areas to accommodate up to 30 people for casual gatherings as well.

Our location in the heart of downtown Barrington has ample parking available and we're only 2 blocks from the Barrington Metra Train Station.  Overall, our establishments offer several different unique options for your events.  Please stop by, take a look and find out what we can do for you!

The following bar packages available for groups of minimum twenty (20) people or more. 

All bar packages priced at a minimum of two hours with additional hours available for extra charge.

Beer & Wine Bar - $20.00 Per Person

Add additional hour @ +$9 per person per hour

All Domestic and Import draught, Domestic bottles, all house wines.

Premium Bar - $26.00 Per Person

Add additional hour @ +$12 per person per hour

The Premium Bar package includes the following:

All Domestic and Import draught and bottled beers, house wine and the following mixed drinks:

All house liquors, Stoli, Seagram's 7, Amaretto, Malibu, Myers Jim Beam, Jameson, Bacardi,

Paddys, Dewars, George Dikel Bourbon and Captain Morgan.  Shots and Martinis are not included.

Super Premium Bar - $34.00 Per Person

Add additional hour @ $16 per person per hour

The Super Premium Bar package includes all items listed in the Premium Bar package

along with the following, which include but not limited to:

Ketel One, Titos, Grey Goose, Johnnie Walker Red and Black, Crown Royal, Jack Daniels,

Makers Mark, Bulleit Bourbon, Bushmills, Bombay Saphire, Beefeater, Tullamore Dew,

Drambuie, Kahula, Baileys, Chambord and some select others.  Shots and Martinis are not included.

Appetizers Bar

Packages are priced per person and include coffee, iced tea and soft drinks.
